Join Savannah for an 8 week online program
Savannah’s intention is to share all she’s learned as a jeweler and teacher working through the lens of sacred adornment for the past decade. We’ll gather for weekly live calls and new content will be released into your online course portal each week. This content will be available for you to download so you can move at your own pace with the presentations and watch replays of the live calls if you are unable to join. Here’s what you’ll learn…
Metalsmithing
Each week you’ll receive a beautifully produced and professionally shot jewelry making tutorial.
We’ll cover 3 silversmithing, 2 wax carving, and 3 goldsmithing projects.
You’ll learn creative ways to make rings, cabochon as well as faceted stone setting, wax models for a signet ring and a carved amulet, gold alloying, chain weaving and granulation!
Bonus materials including downloadable PDFs with detailed project instructions and presentations of additional techniques.
A Setting Up Your Studio presentation will be sent to you upon enrollment with a tool list and safety lesson for setting up your workspace if you desire to do so. We’ll also include a where to buy list so you can begin sourcing tools and materials but this is not required to enjoy the online learning.
This will be an immersive program to develop and deepen your Creative Practice
Sacred Adornment
You’ll learn about stone medicine and the energetic qualities of several stones per week.
Personalized guidance on deepening your relationship to what sacred means to you in your creative practice.
We’ll cover Amulets and Talismans throughout history and humanity’s desire to adorn.
Each week we will focus on a theme including plant and animal materia medica, bodily energetics, and more!
As well as practical information on how to cleanse and charge your stones and jewelry.
More than just technique, this program offers an all encompassing approach to sharing your art with the world
Community
We’ll gather weekly for a live call where new material will be introduced with time for class shares and Q&A
Build relationships with other creatives and share your work in a loving container
All experience levels are welcome
Business Insights
We’ll discuss finding your ideal client, how to price and market your work and other practical advice to expand your business.
Guidance on finding your unique voice as a jeweler and artist.
Savannah will share her resources for photography, stone sourcing, NYC and LA jewelry district recommendations.
Plus a bonus class book list for you to explore.

FAQ’S
Do we need to buy all the tools and materials in advance?
There is absolutely no requirement to invest in your own tools and studio set up. You might decide to watch the tutorials at home and sign up for benchtime time at a local jewelry studio to use their tools. You might only want to make the silversmithing or the wax carving projects to get started. This is all welcome. You will learn so much from watching the lessons and joining class discussions. All that knowledge can be put towards your future creations even if you don’t make any of the projects during the 8 week course.
When will scholarship applications open?
We will send out an email at the end of August inviting you to apply. If you have previously applied you do not need to resubmit an application but please email us at the end of August to let us know you’d still like to be considered and that the timing works for you for the fall program.
Do you offer an in peron apprenticeship?
I am not able to offer any in person teaching or apprenticeship opportunities at this time. Please email connect@savannahking.com if you’d like to discuss an online 1:1 mentorship container.
